Full contact cage fighting hits Eugene this Saturday

In the mood for some serious action and entertainment? For those not faint of heart, check out the Cage Fights presented by Emerald City happening at the Lane County
Fairgrounds this Saturday at 7 p.m. Doors open at 6 p.m. Tickets start at $20 and go to $60 for some front row action. They can be purchased at the EMU ticket office, Eugene/Springfield Safeway Ticket Centers, the Hult Center and ticketswest.com.
Competitors, including both men and women (but not together), are allowed to punch, kick, use wrestling takedowns and engage in some jiu-jitsu style fighting, which includes arm locks, leg locks and chokes.
There are 15 to17 fights scheduled, including three title fights.
