Briefly explain your platform.
Our platform is designed so that we can make sure that students that go unheard have a chance to come in to the ASUO and have a chance to speak. We want to get more students involved because right now there’s a lack of outsider quote unquote students.
What qualities and experience qualify you to be an ASUO senator?
I’m experienced with people, like I really enjoy being around with everyone and helping out the community. I’ve been involved with Club Sports coordinating teams.
What are your thoughts on the purpose and size of the student incidental fee?
I think the incidental fee has become unaffordable for many students; especially students paying their own way through school, especially students from out of state. I really agree with the buy-down we had this term and I want to continue to support it.
How will you ensure that you are representing your constituents’ interests?
I think it’s really important. I’m going to apply to the business school next term. I want to stay involved with the business school; it’s a huge priority in my life.
What are some major issues facing business majors and how would you address them?
Just making sure that they stay involved is a big issue. Making sure times for classes are reasonable so they can take their required classes, because so many of them are overlapping.
