After perhaps the most successful regular season in program history, the women’s volleyball team learned on Sunday that they will host first and second round games of the NCAA tournament. It’s the first time since 1986 that the Ducks will host postseason games. @@http://www.goducks.com/ViewArticle.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=500&ATCLID=205766468@@
The fifth-seeded Ducks will open postseason play on Friday against Northern Colorado while Dayton and Pepperdine round out the Eugene portion of the bracket. If the Ducks win on Friday and Saturday, they will advance to the NCAA regionals for the first time since 2008.
All session passes are already on sale through GoDucks.com and are $18 for reserved seating and $10 for general admission. The athletic department says it will cover the cost of student tickets. @@http://ev10.evenue.net/cgi-bin/ncommerce3/SEGetEventInfo?ticketCode=GS%3AOREGON%3AVB12%3ANCAA%3A&linkID=uoregon&shopperContext=&pc=&caller=&appCode=&groupCode=VB&cgc=@@
