The EMU announced today that it will hold an event to celebrate the life of 21-year-old Carlene Ho, a University of Oregon student who drowned at Summit Lake last week.
The event will run from 4 to 7 p.m. and will include a private tour of Ho’s artwork in the Laverne Krause Gallery, according to the EMU Facebook page.
The EMU Craft Center staff also encourages Ho’s friends to create a permanent piece of art to display to remember her.
