Over the years I have gotten used to the ever-growing convenience of having the Internet right at my fingertips and, praise the lord, spell-checker in Microsoft Word. I can check my e-mail, my bank account balance, the latest breaking news and my MySpace all with the quick click of some buttons. When I want to find the recipe for Banoffee Pie, the lyrics to a new song or tips about traveling to Europe, it’s all within a minute’s search.
I also can avoid misspelling words like I tend to do and this convenience has made me a bit lazy I will admit. Looking back, the computer has played a significant role in my life these past several years.
