The UOPD reported a man was being chased by another man holding a knife on Oct. 15, according to the campus crime alert posted on Oct. 17.
The assault happened Monday night on a bike path near 8th Avenue and Hilyard Street. The victim was walking the path when the suspect approached him and pulled out a knife against him.
The suspect is reported to have long hair and baggy clothes.
