Alright, it’s time to get in shape before the Eugene blues come along and we all end up buried in school work, covered in blankets, packing on our hibernation belts and staring out the window into gloomy rain while praying for spring to come early. Students are about to take advantage of the Student Recreation Center that all of us already pay for via tuition. This means you may be facing lines at the weights and full wait-lists at the elliptical machines. Plan, plan, plan! I cannot stress enough the importance of putting some personal time into going to the gym. If you just decide to go the gym around 7 p.m., you will suffer the consequence of standing around longer then you would at any DMV. The best times to go to the gym are right when classes generally get out that are taught at the Rec (generally around 4 p.m.). If you can’t make it to this golden hour at the Rec, then try to drop by in the morning and sign up for a later time and have your spot reserved.
Monday – Friday: 6 a.m. to midnight
