Tobias Read (D) leads with nearly 55% of the vote to Dennis Lincthicum’s (R) nearly 43% and Nathalie Paravicini’s (PGP) 2.67% respectively.
About the candidates:
Read has served as Oregon Treasurer since 2017 and cannot run for reelection due to term limits. Read previously represented Oregon’s 27th House District, encompassing the Portland area, from 2007 to 2017.
Linthicum has represented Oregon’s 28th State Senate district, encompassing Klamath County, as well as parts of Deschutes and Jackson counties since 2017. He is barred from seeking reelection to his office because of participation in the 2023 GOP walkouts in the Oregon Legislature.
Paravicini previously ran for Secretary of State in 2020 unsuccessfully and for Governor in 2022 before withdrawing. Her priorities are campaign finance reform and electoral reform via support for ranked-choice voting.
Oregon Attorney General

Dan Rayfield (D) leads Will Lathrop (R) 54% to 46% to be Oregon’s top law enforcement official.
About the candidates:
Rayfield has represented Oregon House District 16, composed mostly of Corvallis, since 2015. He was also Speaker of the Oregon House of Representatives from 2022 to 2024 when he stepped down to run for Attorney General.
Lathrop is a former deputy district attorney for Yamhill and Marion counties. In 2014, he began working with the National District Attorneys Association in Virginia. From 2015 to 2023, he worked with the nonprofit International Justice Mission to prosecute human trafficking in Uganda, West Africa and the Middle East.
Oregon Treasurer

Elizabeth Steiner (D) leads Brian Boquist (R) 50% to 44%. .
About the candidates:
Boquist served in the army for 36 years as a Special Forces Officer and in the reserves. Since 2009 he has represented Oregon Senate District 12, covering Yamhill and Polk counties. Boquist is barred from seeking reelection because of his participation in the 2023 GOP walkouts in the Oregon Legislature.
Oregon Congressional District

U.S. Rep. Val Hoyle has won re-election to Oregon’s 4th Congressional District. Partial results as of 9:30 p.m. show Hoyle with a significant lead over Monique DeSpain (R) 54% to 43%.
About the candidates:
Val Hoyle (D), the representative for Oregon’s Fourth Congressional District, is seeking re-election. Hoyle was previously Oregon’s Labor Commissioner until 2022 when she was elected to Congress following Peter DeFazio’s retirement.
Monique DeSpain (R) is running against Hoyle for the congressional seat. DeSpain is a retired air colonel and attorney for the Judge Advocate General’s Corps for the U.S. Air Force. After her military career, she transitioned into a private legal practice in Oregon until she launched her campaign in early 2024.
